Task 2.2 ~ Print artefacts research - Fifa 13 review
This review opens with a question. The rhetoric reads "Better than before, but is that still enough?" This instantly will have the reader hooked on what the magazine has to say about one of the best loved games on the planet. As seen with the Crysis 3 review the size differs in this one as it was not as hotly anticipated by the "gaming" audience who this magazine is predominantly aimed at however due to it's world wide popularity this magazine still allocates it a full page as it is incredibly popular and will still be read.
The colour scheme of this review is also of a green and white nature. The reason for this is because of the links that it has with football. It is related to the greenery of a football pitch which would be welcomed by all football fans. Details of the game are given in this interview as well. Details such as consoles available on, release dates and developers. This gives the readers an increased indepth knowledge of the game and what features are likley to be on offer.
A unique feature of this review is the comparison of FIFA 13 to it's main rival PES 2013. This is a particularly good feature of this review as it gives the audience a real chance to compare the two games and find for themselves what are the pro's and cons of both. This review keeps with conventions of few large pictures and large quantities of text. This shows the balnce between in game stills that the audience like to take note of and the understanding and points they gain from reading the actual review.
