The very first camera angle we see is an establishing shot of a city landscape. This is representative of not only the masses of inner city people that play this sort of game but is also a reference to 'urban' football. The first person we see is Wayne Rooney. This is highly appropriate as Rooney is extremely famous and synonomous with football. As he is someone that is so well known this is good promotional activity for the game.
We see many famous footballers throughout the advert including Xavi, Benzema and Chiellini. These three are also massively famous within the football world. We then begin to see more master shots of different cities throughout the world. This is an acknowledgment of how popular not only the FIFA game series are but how popular football is worldwide.
As well as this we see lots of different football fans supporting 4 of the biggest football teams in the world. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United. This once again is a big appeal to the many fans of the game but also compliments the tagline of this advert, "how big can football get?" The many fans cheering the footballers are also replications to how thousands of fans turn up to football stadiums to support these players in real life.
The music throughout is similar to that of football chants and will attract the audience to the advert and make the game more appealing. The music towards the end, called the "can-can", this is a bouncy song which is linked to a well known dance but can be used and applied in many situations. The reason for this is it is fast paced and this is when the cuts become quicker so the beats match the cuts.
At one point in the advert the video cuts between real life match footage and FIFA 10 gameplay. It terms of media production this is highly impressive and it compares the relationship between FIFA 10 and the real game. Once again the cheering fans emphasise the similar nature that EA aim to create between their product and what the product is based on.
